About Us & Our Story

NeuroCalm Collective was created from a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel safe, supported and able to enjoy events without becoming overwhelmed.

As a neurodivergent person, I understand first-hand how challenging busy environments can be. The idea for NeuroCalm Collective grew after my partner, who is also neurodivergent, declined an invitation to a festival because there was nowhere available to step away and regulate if things became too overwhelming. It highlighted a gap that prevents many people from fully participating in experiences that should be welcoming and enjoyable.

Alongside my lived experience, I have worked as an Associate Ambulance Practitioner and continue to work in care. These experiences have shaped my understanding of supporting people through distress, creating calm environments and delivering compassionate, person-centred support.

Today, NeuroCalm Collective exists to help event organisers create more accessible and inclusive events through professionally designed sensory regulation spaces that help people relax, regulate and confidently rejoin the event.
